The Cross of Christ

The Cross of Christ

The cross was plainly visible,
Though the room devoid of light.
The shadow cast upon the ground,
Came a little past midnight.
It was the moon, that nightly prince,
That rules the cool night air.
When paired with window, pane and post,
Revealed my Savior there.

About the Poet
I've been a Christian for over 40 years and am continually thankful for Jesus' friendship and care. I'm married and have three grown children. I also have two grandsons and three granddaughters. Praise God! My prayer is that God would use these simple poems to encourage you in your walk with the Lord.
