The Lamb

Though tenderly loved, He left His home from above,

Jesus, our Lamb from God.

He willingly came, in obedience came,

To ransom the wretched for God.

He loved not His life, but paid the full price,

To bring back the wayward to God.

And now we can stand,

And lift up our hands,

For we are home in the bosom of God.

John 1:18 "No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him."

About the Poet
I've been a Christian for over 40 years and am continually thankful for Jesus' friendship and care. I'm married and have three grown children. I also have two grandsons and three granddaughters. Praise God! My prayer is that God would use these simple poems to encourage you in your walk with the Lord.
