Christmas in the Mountains
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

Christmas in the Mountains

Deep in the Appalachian woods,
a cabin glows in candlelight;
a family warms near crackling fire
upon a cold and snowy night.

They gaze upon the Christmas tree
where hand made decorations shine-
one gift for each 'neath perfect branch
home made with pride for Christmas time.

Then parents sing and children join
in song this hallowed Christmas Eve-
"Oh silent night...oh holy night" -
with joy in Him, whom they believe

provides in nature, peace and rest
and Light to know, they're truly blessed...
