Twilight Snow

Twilight Snow

Bare branches stirred in winded flow

stand silhouetted in the snow,

as from my window's view, I see

a peacefulness beholding me.

A lavender hued coated sky

looms melancholy like a sigh

in watercolors, tree to tree-

a peacefulness beholding me.

Wind whirls amongst stark gleaming drifts;

a sparkling celebration lifts-

the season praising Heavenly,

in peacefulness beholding me.

(Poem is a kyrielle.  I wrote this a few weeks ago when we had about 5 inches of snow,
 but today it's unseasonably warm here and almost 60 degrees.)  :)
