Near Long Crow Creek
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

Near Long Crow Creek

Great woodland boughs form canopies

above the winding long Crow Creek;

there's shade from sun in summer's breeze

that forest dwellers often seek.

Meandering on ancient floor,

cool water beckons thirsty deer

that drink of manna, wanting more

as other guests may gather near.

This way, the path lies dark and deep-

this trail along the creek, I see;

in morning's wake, a stillness keeps-

then suddenly, a buzzing bee

breaks silence, and I look away...

behind me, meadow blooms in sun;

He'll lend me peace I know, this day-

on either path, this morn begun...
