A quiet wood, a cabin's glow-

a shimmering of sparkling snow;

the faithful pines all praising still-

the paths ahead from hill to hill...

and up above, so near yet far-

an ancient Light, the Guiding Star...

 

 

(This is the poem I've sent in my Christmas cards to close friends and relatives that live away.
 The scene on the card is of a cabin in the snowy woods with hills behind it and 2 children
 and a dog playing outside in the early evening or twilight hour.)  :)
