Rubaiyat of the Woodland
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

The Woodland

Cathedral-like in morning sun,

the woodland gleams this day begun

and peace of Hand here beckons me

midst ribboning of sunlight spun-

arrayed through ceiling's canopy,

all nature growing  faithfully

so blessed in manna, God provides;

concordance utmost here, I see.

Such praise before me, far and wide

inspires me to coincide;

sweet hymns of bird song, now I hear-

some bolder organ notes applied.

Of darker woods, I shall not fear

on isle to the Heaven's sphere-

He beckons and is always near-

He beckons and is always near...

                                ( This poem is a Rubaiyat stanza poem, as Robert Frost's...'Stopping By
                                   Woods on a Snowy Evening.')
