Other Poems by Lucia Kiersch Haase

A moon glows o're a silent wood

reflecting snow cascading down

in soft and quiet lullaby

midst pillared pines that long have stood,

now flocked and laced in lambent gown-

a moon glows o're a silent wood.

A stream now frozen mirrors Light

created in an ancient time

reflecting snow cascading down.

An owl cries...who who...we know

just Who has lent such peace serene

in soft and quiet lullaby.

(This is a cascade poem.  Each line of the first stanza is the final stanza afterward and it
has this rhyme scheme:  ABC abA cdB efC.   I came across this and had not written one
before, so thought I would try one.)  :)
