Walking Cenney
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

By Lucia Kiersch Haase
Other Poems by Lucia Kiersch Haase

There's the crunch of the leaves

on the path 'neath my feet

as the wind interweaves

all the colors that greet

on the path 'neath my feet-

on this crisp Autumn day,

all the colors that greet

in the Fall, have their say;

on this crisp Autumn day

by God's hand and design,

in the falling the say-

Oh the blessings divine;

by God's hand and design

as the wind interweaves

such a blessing divine-

there's the crunch of the leaves.

(Cenney is our white pomeranian. :)  I've been taking him for walks 3 times a day,
 now that the weather is cooler.  Enjoying the Autumn season and trees and the
 crunch of the leaves as we walk. I have to chuckle when i hear him crunching
 through them also. )  :)
