The Buzz

Hear the sound of saw and drill As old cabinetry gives way to new Tearing out the old for trash and recycle Preparing the room for new maple Peacock green granite to replace formica counter top The downstairs full of cardboard crated cabinets Contents of old cabinets stashed here and there Using the bathroom faucets and sink for water usage In a day or two all will look so very new Off with the old--now useless--on with the brand new Is that the way it is for me and you? The Buzz (c)2011 Quentin Clingerman NOTE: Renovating the kitchen in the townhouse.
