Let There Be Light

"Let there be light"

And there was light!

God saw that it was good

"The Light came into the world...

The Life was the light of men"

St. John declared of Jesus

That the Light of God penetrate

The darkness of this our nation

That there be light, morning bright

In the rooms and hallways of this government

Too much shadow, too much behind closed doors

Let the light shine in, may the Light be revealed

Once a nation under God

Now under a very dark cloud

Let the Light shine in

Let it be in Jesus' Name!
