In prayer and supplication we often come
To your Throne in Heaven above
Seeking your face, your will divine
Seeking peace of heart and soul and mind

This little poem of prayer today
We come to just praise you for You
Your majesty we hold in awe
Your love that is over all

Your loving kindness that you show
In myriad ways we don't even know
You see the sparrow fall, so frail so small
You care for and bless your creatures all

Though sin has cursed the universe
You sent your Son as the Inverse
To provide redemption universe wide
You patiently work your will with ebb and tide

We come to praise you Father
God, Creator, Lord, Saviour
We praise you, God
We praise you, God

Praise God (c)2003 Quentin Clingerman
