Christlikeness

Is it only to be saved from sin

Separation from God for eternity

Christ died?

Jesus spoke of a righteousness

greater than that of the Pharisees

A list of behaviors and attitudes  that

challenge, that cause a believer pause

"Greater things," He said, "We'd do than He."

How is that possible?

The Christian is "born again" to grow

As an infant becomes a toddler, a child,

a youth, a man

Christ promised the Holy Spirit

to His followers

St. Paul lists the gifts of the Spirit

They all suggest growth

Christians are not to remain "babes in Christ"

But mature, become more like their Maker

Where am I, where are you, in this journey of faith?

It is an upward walk, "from glory to glory" wrote St. Paul

Christlikeness the Christian's aim, his goal

now, on earth, in this place

Where am I, where are you, in this journey of faith?
