New Year

The calendar changes, a new year begins

What really changes?

Life progresses as before, each day following another

Nothing new in that!

We can set goals, make resolutions

New beginnings begin within the mind and heart

Anytime we desire to make a needed change

The calendar has very little to do with it

Courage and determination have no set time

No calendar or clock

Faith and trust in God brings reassurance

Anytime, anywhere

Can be your new year!

New Year (c)2016 Quentin Clingerman
