Father, Creator, Lord of All
On this Father's Day on you we call
Remind us of your constant love
That you are here, not just above
Watching over all in care
That we not be caught in Evil's snare

Forgive us of our waywardness
Causing so much unnecessary stress

Cleanse my heart and my mind
May I in you all goodness find
That I, in some semblance be
A father reflecting Thee
Demonstrating your faithfulness
In gentle spirit, giving caress

That the world's turmoil not cause fear
But to you we draw ever near

"Be not afraid," the Savior said
Father, faith in you stands in good staid
May Father's Day be everyday
As unto you awesome respect we pay
