  View from the Window

Frost on the neighbor's roof
Sun filtering through bare branches
Hanging basket of pansies chomped
Close to the house (undoubtedly hungry deer)
Cup of hot coffee
A thankful heart for shelter and warm hearth
February's cold days will turn to cool early blooms
Spring is just around the corner
As I view a winter's day out the window
