Join Our Hearts in Gratitude

With bowed heads and earnest hearts

We come to The Father of all blessings

Thanking Him who gives us life

And more abundant living

Thanking Him for our freedoms so sacrifically earned

By others

Gratefully thinking of those who are in harms way

For their safety  stop and pray

Seated with their families at Thanksgiving dinner

Only in their minds

Thanking Him for family near and far

For those who care for the institutionalized,

Who serve Thanksgiving dinner to the homeless

And indigent

For those who take the Gospel to far off lands

Blessing those so different in culture

We join our hearts in gratitude

Join our hearts in gratitude
