On a Quiet Sunday Afternoon

Stillness swallows up the day

Quiet rain fills creeks and streams

Causing low lying flooding

In the warmth and shelter of the house

Tranquility reigns

Solitude

My mind and heart are at rest

In the presence of God

His Spirit refreshes mine

A new busy week ahead

I have nothing to dread

Peace reigns from the Throne Room of Heaven

Peace reigns from the Throne Room of Heaven

On A Quiet Sunday Afternoon(c)2007 Quentin Clingerman
