Wayward Bus

Remember this title?
Book by John Steinbeck.
An analogy or allegory
If you will, of individuals
Seeking their niche in life.
A sad commentary on the
Purposelessness so many feel;
The meaningless of esxistence.
The book has a tragic ending
There is no bending of fate,
Just a grim following of
Natrual desires and even hate.
But there is a destination
That is a place of tranquility
And significance.
The Bus is the Good News of the Gospel
The Driver, Jesus Christ

Wayward Bus (c) 2000 Quentin Clingerman
