Touching Base With God

Touching base with God
Is the best thing that you can do
For no one knows you any better
Than the God who created you
So rise... shine...give God the glory
And call upon that blessed name
Of the One who through the Cross has given us new life
Now that's a hallelujah to proclaim!!!

Praise God it's a wonderful feeling 
To greet the world afresh
And show them of your new aliveness
And the way that you've been blessed
By the One who gives us glad declaration
That there's life in the Crucified One
And every heart that trusts in Him
Will know Heaven as their home...

He can take the blight that sin has caused
And wipe it clean with grace
And in the process give full assurance
That forgiveness has taken place...
Jesus does love me...praise the Lord!
For He holds Spiritual jurisdiction...
And has granted forever my eternal pardon
By way of His Resurrection...

Now I relish in the glory
Of the God of Abraham
Who is higher than any religion
Formed on earth in the mind of men
For He who said " let there be light!"
Has become our true Life giver!
And the greatest thing that you can do in this life
Is to praise Him while you live here!

So how has your morning started?
Have you turned your praises on?
And have given the glory to the Lord Jesus Christ
For His so great Salvation
You can turn over a new leaf today
And pray for a new beginning
For the soul that will trust in such a loving One
Is definitely on the side of winning!

So how's it going to turn out?
Will you tune out or will you tune in?
Will you make it today your top priority
To finally deal with your sin?
Or are you going to continue on
Just the same as your yesterday?
May the good Lord grant you the new resolve
That today you will begin to pray!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
