God Is Not The Author Of Confusion

God is not the Author of confusion
So He made it that every nation
Has only one name in the which to call upon
That they may enjoy  God's so great Salvation
Only one name under both earth and Heaven
In the which to find our soul's relief
And hallelujah that name is the Lord Jesus Christ
Our Messiah for sins relief

The angels knew who they were singing about
It was a song that soul's would be free
Heaven's rejoicing became music to the ears 
To the shepherds near Galilee
What excitement became their lot
Such an unexpected blessing it was 
For birthed in a manger was the Lamb of God
The earth's perfect Sacrifice

Joy to the world the Lord had come
Yes in the fullness of time He came
God had a plan to rescue lost men
And the Lord Jesus Christ was His name...
Now faith had a firm foundation
For the Word...our God became flesh
And humbled Himself as a lowly man
And became obedient unto death

But death could not hold Him captive
Though it tried as much as it could
For its power over Him was obsolete 
For He became our risen Lord
Now in the strength of His Resurrection 
Our faith in Him...Victory!!!
And hallowed hosannas emit from the heart's 
Who have trusted in Christ and believed!!!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!

About the Poet
I came to know the Lord as my personal Saviour in January of 1972. I was married on Oct 21,1966 to my wife Linda who also loves the Lord. We have ten children and now twenty-four grand children. In Aug 2012 we got the announcement of the birth of our first GREAT grand child (a baby girl). I was thrilled to find others of like precious faith and belief in Jesus Christ. Hallelujah! What a Savior! I am presently living in Champion, Alberta, Canada but we are originally from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada. That is where the poem Canadian Tribute to America was birthed. One Sunday as I walked across the city on my way to church I came to the top of a hill and looked across at Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. After watching the events of the Sept 11 tragedy it was weighing on my heart and mind and the Lord gave me these words. We came to Calgary and when my oldest daughter saw this poem she said, �Dad, what�s this?� and I said a poem and she replied �Dad, that�s not a poem , that�s a song� and she then went to the piano and began to sing and play it. The result of which turned into a song entitled, A Canadian Tribute to America which she recorded on CD. garyjamessmith2005@yahoo.ca
