Man Is Saved

Man Is Saved

Man is saved by grace through faith
It's through God's simplicity
Our greatest work is to just believe
Christ did all the work for me
Praise God it's an act of the will
Will you or will you not
There can't be any fence straddling here
Have you given that a thought!

There's definetly a lot at stake
Will it be Heaven or Hell
You are but a breath away from death
What's your decision pray tell?
We think we're going to live forever
Then suddenly old age
Or illness strikes us in our youth
That too is often an adage

Don't let Satan beguile you
And comfort you with deceit
Remember he's disguised
 as an angel of light
But he too his doom shall meet
The Word exposes his folly
He's the prince of the power of the air
But praise God our Lord is greater still
For He's the God of everywhere!!!

Let Christ be your yea and amen
The God of positivity
For He absolutely guarantees Savation
To any repentant heart in need
No need to look for any other
Hallelujah the answer is in the Son
The only name given us under Heaven
That God has stamped His approval upon

Come now and make your full surrender
And receive His gift of grace
Let His peace rule in your heart
Where the Spirit resides by faith
Only one option...checkmark it!
There's life in the Crucified One
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ today
And come home to where you belong...

Hallelujah what a Saviour!

About the Poet
I came to know the Lord as my personal Saviour in January of 1972. I was married on Oct 21,1966 to my wife Linda who also loves the Lord. We have ten children and now twenty-four grand children. In Aug 2012 we got the announcement of the birth of our first GREAT grand child (a baby girl). I was thrilled to find others of like precious faith and belief in Jesus Christ. Hallelujah! What a Savior! I am presently living in Champion, Alberta, Canada but we are originally from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada. That is where the poem Canadian Tribute to America was birthed. One Sunday as I walked across the city on my way to church I came to the top of a hill and looked across at Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. After watching the events of the Sept 11 tragedy it was weighing on my heart and mind and the Lord gave me these words. We came to Calgary and when my oldest daughter saw this poem she said, Dad, whats this? and I said a poem and she replied Dad, thats not a poem , thats a song and she then went to the piano and began to sing and play it. The result of which turned into a song entitled, A Canadian Tribute to America which she recorded on CD. garyjamessmith2005@yahoo.ca
