God Zeroes In On The Hurting

God zeroes in on the hurting
For His love was designed to care
Never leave off of His ministering of grace
But accept it when you’re in deep despair
For there's none other who knows you like God
And in spite of all of your deficiencies
He's the most wonderful and kind Enabler
Who can turn your plight into praise

When was the last time you leaned on Him
I mean when you've really have given Him some thought
This may be a new beginning of adventuring
As to what saving faith has wrought
The Lord Jesus can give you true freedom
Releasement from the bondage of sin
The.greatest measure of forgiveness praise God!
And a rejoicing heart of hallelujahing!

So up! Be swift to obedience!
For you have seen the light of day...
Now go and tell the world the story
For time is swiftly ebbing away
There's a lost and dying world before us
The harvest is ripening to white!
Go ye forth in the strength of the Lord
And reap of the treasures in sight!

For faith has given us Spiritual energy
As in supernatural so to speak
For Christ is in us our hope of glory
And has passioned our hearts for soul's to seek
And the highest of decorations will be given
To those who have sought after the soul's that are lost
To those who have obediently served the Lord
And are known as the soldiers of the Cross!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!

About the Poet
I came to know the Lord as my personal Saviour in January of 1972. I was married on Oct 21,1966 to my wife Linda who also loves the Lord. We have ten children and now twenty-four grand children. In Aug 2012 we got the announcement of the birth of our first GREAT grand child (a baby girl). I was thrilled to find others of like precious faith and belief in Jesus Christ. Hallelujah! What a Savior! I am presently living in Champion, Alberta, Canada but we are originally from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada. That is where the poem Canadian Tribute to America was birthed. One Sunday as I walked across the city on my way to church I came to the top of a hill and looked across at Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. After watching the events of the Sept 11 tragedy it was weighing on my heart and mind and the Lord gave me these words. We came to Calgary and when my oldest daughter saw this poem she said, Dad, whats this? and I said a poem and she replied Dad, thats not a poem , thats a song and she then went to the piano and began to sing and play it. The result of which turned into a song entitled, A Canadian Tribute to America which she recorded on CD. garyjamessmith2005@yahoo.ca
