He's a Unique God

HE'S A UNIQUE GOD

He's a unique one and only God
And I know He knows my name
He who created all we see and can't
Is ever still the same
How unchanging and so loving
That He loves...He loves us so
O Lord draw us unto Thyself
That we may praise Thee so

He's a unique one and only God
And His love it faileth not
He is ever seeking to save lost souls
That mission...He's not forgot
Into the highways and byways
He sends His worker's to compel
All that are sinning to turn from their ways
So they don't end up in He'll

He's a unique one and only God
He's set the world in it's course
His timetable can be challenged by no one
Nor challenge His awesome discourse
His Word is very God Himself
And He came in human flesh
In the person of Lord Jesus Christ
Whom you owe. ..your very best

He's a unique one and only God
And He's made it so very plain
Do you want to find the way to the Father
Then trust in Jesus' name
That sin that renders us worthless
In the path that on earth we have trod
Can be disannuled and we can receive forgiveness
Through this unique one and only God

He's a unique one and only God
Do you know Him as your own
Can you say...beyond a shadow of a doubt
"Heaven" is my final home
I trust you will find that Saviour And let His Spirit have It's way with you
For this unique "one and only God"
Has brought salvation to you!

About the Poet
I came to know the Lord as my personal Saviour in January of 1972. I was married on Oct 21,1966 to my wife Linda who also loves the Lord. We have ten children and now twenty-four grand children. In Aug 2012 we got the announcement of the birth of our first GREAT grand child (a baby girl). I was thrilled to find others of like precious faith and belief in Jesus Christ. Hallelujah! What a Savior! I am presently living in Champion, Alberta, Canada but we are originally from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada. That is where the poem Canadian Tribute to America was birthed. One Sunday as I walked across the city on my way to church I came to the top of a hill and looked across at Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. After watching the events of the Sept 11 tragedy it was weighing on my heart and mind and the Lord gave me these words. We came to Calgary and when my oldest daughter saw this poem she said, Dad, whats this? and I said a poem and she replied Dad, thats not a poem , thats a song and she then went to the piano and began to sing and play it. The result of which turned into a song entitled, A Canadian Tribute to America which she recorded on CD. garyjamessmith2005@yahoo.ca
