Thank You Lord For The Blessings Of God

Thank you Lord for the blessings of God
That cometh down from above
Your very nature to indwell us Lord
Through our faith in the written Word
Magnified grace upon grace
A reflection of your mercy
Forgiveness as a remembrance fact
The gist of which is not hearsay...

We are thine by saving faith
In obedience to your Word
Such a treasure chest of truth
That truth...being You Lord
For thine is the kingdom...the power...and the glory
Hallelujah for your blest name
Never a name so dear to trust in
Praise God it's forever the same!

Salvation as your glorious banner
Never such jubilation ever was found
But in those who have been translated from the kingdom of darkness
But now who are glorybound
A heart cannot but explode in praise
When sin has been forgiven
And immediately extends those praises back
To the God of both earth and Heaven!

Now we see you Lord by faith
One day it shall be by sight
What a glorious day that will be
To see You...our chief delight!
To think that my sin nailed You to a Cross
And fastened You fast that day
Yet Your great love remained steadfast
To wash my sin away!

You shed your precious blood for me
That I might be redeemed
And rose again in glorious fashion
Praise God Thou King of kings
While earth awaits Your coronation
You are Lord of our heart's 
For You have done an inward work
Your grace has done its part!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
