My Mountain Guide

My Mountain Guide

The slope was in the vertical
As broken lay in the horizontal
There’s no slope you can’t climb
Christ the Lord is your mountain guide
Entrapped amongst the clover
Embraced with His love drawing closer
Whispering Holy Spirit your life is not over
God’s plans are greater as yours vanish
Broken climbed slippery slope that day
Confessing Christ is the only way
For truest peace with His strong cup of joy
God’s mountain guide gets all the glory
