Sweet Young Tender

Sweet Young Tender

Somewhere there's a crying soul
Sweet young tender awaiting desperately
For the loving touch of the Lord
Beneath sin's darkening hand
Wanting to blossom in God's promised land
A seed of His love planted long ago
Searching for His living water to grow

When the light of Jesus' love
Touches sweet young tender souls
The inward parts leap into joyful hearts
As showers of His pollinated living blood
Sprinkle over tender seeds crying desperately
Releasing the grip of sin's darkening hand
Sweet young tender headed for the promised land
Singing joyfully about Heaven up above
Blossoming and growing touched by His love

Dearest souls, Jesus will gladly touch
Just remember, sweet young tender
Sin's dark hand can't steal your soul
With a living touch, from His Cross
Bathed in love you blossom and grow
Sweet young tender souls, seeds of His love
Planted long ago, blossoms of His Holy blood
Jesus' blood bears, God's Sacred Rose
