Pothole
By: Laurie Ragan Jenkins

It's God's way
Or the highway
I get spiritually stubborn
When driving down His road of love
And I hit this great big darkened pothole
They're screaming in my deafened ear
There's no God you're just a fool
I calmly point out all He's done for them too
Most times they just don't want to hear
It's easier to deny Him praise and glory
Their foolish pride has blinded them
To the beauty of His glorious light
In pride they're weakened to death
With no hope or chance of Christ's sight
I'll drive out of this great big dark blinded pothole
Praying God open up their eyes
And save their darkened soul
