Overexposure
By: Laurie Ragan Jenkins

Some might say
That I'm overexposed
To God's righteous Son
I quickly reply, indeed so
But their just underdeveloped
To God's will shining bright above
It takes lots of Sonshine
To nurture and grow
The fruits of His Spirit
Overexposure to the brightest Son that shines
Never fear you have a God given guarantee to never burn
You're wearing God's most powerful Son-block to your soul

Some might say
That I've been brainwashed
No! no! I reply
I've been blood washed
With the beautiful blood of Jesus Christ
My brain is washed!
Free from the sin of the world
My brain is finally intact
I'm proudly moving forward
Think what you want
Say what you choose
With Christ Jesus' blood
I'll never lose
