Motionless Peace

Motionless Peace

Morning’s quietness imposes peace

As daylight streaks across the horizon

The hurried day is soon to begin

Stealing quietness with man-made sounds

Meditation within God’s Holy Word

Stirs the splendor of God’s stillness

Imposing peace forevermore

Giving God all the glory, stills the soul

Peace lulls motionless throughout the day

As moonlight streaks across the horizon

Peace cradles along the bay
