God Cleared the Water
By: Laurie Ragan Jenkins

Once I was trapped
In the huge fish tank of the world
Helplessly dying in the filthy murky septic tank
No hope of escape to the bottom I had sank
Blinded by the cloudy water, no life support
No clean air to breathe, oxygen level gone
My spirit was desperately seeking air
Needing a tender loving Spirit that cared
God in Heaven cleared the water in my soul
Now I'm faithfully swimming in His spiritual bowl
Jesus gave me the purest air to breathe
Now my oxygen level is perfectly at its peak
My spirit swims contented for I'm no longer weak
Jesus is my life support while God's Kingdom I seek
I'm set free from the slimy fish tank of the world
