A Whirligig
By: Laurie Ragan Jenkins

When you sow the wind
You will reap the whirlwind
Becoming an useless whirligig
As you helplessly spin and spin
In the wrath of God's whirlwind
Mad little hamster on the wheel of misfortune
Just thrown to the wind of destruction
Cause you never took time to follow God's instruction
Gobbled up, eagle bait, reaping the wind of doom
Never knowing Jesus and receiving Heaven's room
For you've sown the wind and reaped the whirlwind of gloom

Hosea 8:7
For they have sown the wind,
and they shall reap the whirlwind:
it hath no stalk: the bud shall yield no meal:
if so be it yield, the strangers shall swallow it up
King James Version
