Chocolate Pie Delight
© By: Laurie Ragan Jenkins

Little ones have good times within their eyes
Chocolate pie drools, cascading on stool
A grateful squeal demanding more pies
Baby food's a bore compared with this delight
Thankful lit the bluest of eyes
Chocolate pie delight smiles thanksgiving sky
If I could I'd travel many a mile
Delivering little ones first chocolate pie smile
Instead I'll learn from the youngest of child
Pleasure and gratitude meek and mild
Simple is life giggles and smiles
