Loving Touch
By: Laurie Ragan Jenkins

Big hand, little hand, made to fit
Though little one, seems not equipped
Safe inside, the loving touch
The Father holds, the little one
Within the folds, from year to year
Through tear by tear
Hand in hand, through olden times
Little one, delivered up
Heaven's gate, opened wide
Little one, safe inside
