Love Song Playing

Love Song Playing

From my front porch I seem to hear
God's love song playing year after year
Christmas time is almost here
Holly berries aglow on a dark green bush
Sing a peaceful song of yesteryear
Christmas time is drawing near
Perfect flesh was ripped and torn
God's chosen King wore a crown of thorns
Immortality has been won
Long ago that first Christmas morn
Christ Jesus came to earth to be born
Red berries sing of precious blood shed
For our sins dear Christ Jesus bled
God's love song stirs a river of tears
Christmas time will soon be here
Holly berries aglow draw me near
