Heaven's Way
By: Laurie Ragan Jenkins

Oh little baby there You lay
Tiny furrowed brow encased in sweet smelling hay
Oh what a triumphant life giving day
When God sent You little baby there in the hay

Oh little baby glance my way
Save this sinner for Your newest day
A joyous song a brand-new melody
Blessed with Your Spirit onward I cleave

Oh little baby there You lay
Awaken my soul for Heaven today
Smile on me Jesus together we'll be
Up there in Heaven singing angel's harmony

Oh little baby there You lay
Tiny furrowed brow encased in sweet smelling hay
Are You dreaming of Calvary's cruelest road
Is it possible You already know the path you'll strode

Oh little baby God's dear Son
Your sinless life is traded for what I've done
Your resurrection gives me Heaven's key
Thank You little baby for smiling on me

Oh little baby there You lay
My sweet Saviour Heaven's way
