Author Unknown
By: Laurie Ragan Jenkins

Choosing to remain nameless
For God surely does all the work
Reminding me of the author unknown
So only God's glory will be shown
Throughout the endless universe
In whatever chosen time and place
Listening while His Spirit speaks
Among my comfy, comfy, space
I could be just another nameless
Praising God for all His grace
God alone deserves top billing
Since it was Jesus' blood that was spilling
Bringing me to this time and space
Saving another soul through love and grace
There is nothing great within this earthly being
Except God's grace I'm always seeing
When I feel His Spirit in the breeze
Whispering about His love for you and me
If I were to remain author unknown
Perhaps more of God's glory would be shown
But I'm still human this I see
With too much selfishness in me
