Tiny Royalty

Tiny Royalty

Waltzing crocuses beneath the rugged pine

Yellow butter-drop and purple jam

Spread across God’s earth of toast

Small majesties happily hug each other

For warmth on this cold winter’s day

Tiny royalty raise their cup of purest joy

Winter’s blossoms toast spring’s arrival

Cheers of gratitude for their small slice of bread

Waltzing perfectly for God above has fed
