A Magnet for Jesus
By: Laurie Ragan Jenkins

Remember when while growing up
The many dreams of what you'd be
A movie star or singer you are
With diamond rings and a great big car
Dreaming dreams of reaching far
Then Jesus shined His heavenly star
Lit by His light experiencing growing pains
Each one a blessing with so much gained
Now grown-up to become a magnet
Pulling lost souls that have become stagnant
A shiny star for Jesus is better by far
Than any diamond rings or great big car
Shining ever so bright for others to see
Magnetized to Jesus through eternity
Now it seems a magnet is what I really want to be
