The Dripping Faucet

The Dripping Faucet

At first glance of God’s undying love
His faucet has the smallest drip
God’s faucet of living water burst forth
Glorious light awash with time
Little by little His faucet turned
Brighter and brighter His flame did burn
The soul immersed in Heaven’s light
Tasting Christ’s living water satisfied
Whatever may come throughout life
God’s undying love crashes over to cradle
Wave’s breath kisses the soul awakened
Looking above where Heaven beckons
The dripping faucet drips no more
God’s living water gains full speed
Christ’s Jesus sustains Godly needs
