Joy Astir
By: Laurie Ragan Jenkins

Arise, astir, the joy from the Word
The man from Galilee Christ our King
Shed His royal blood death has lost the sting
Joy astir let's once captives sing
The power of Jesus' blood makes all sinners free
Jesus' royal blood saved all sinners just like me
Arise, astir, grateful praises to God above
Indebted praises like incense astir, joy for the love
Bring your empty heart, be filled with a joy soul
Joy astir be cleansed by righteous blood
Joyful praises as an incense flood
Arises to the throne of our God of love
Arise, astir, the joy from the Word
