Timeless
By: Laurie Ragan Jenkins

Does it really matter
What year we're living in
Time will never change
It always adds up the same
Only another number
Added to the prior year
We stand upon a rock so dear
Full of promises to never change
The Word of God ringing clear
Through each and every year
A never changing timeless bell
Clanging to another number
With the Word of God to boldly tell
Dearest Christ our beautiful rock
Many years have come and gone
Yet You Lord Jesus will never fail
Timeless plays Your melody
Throughout all God's centuries
Ring clearly another year
