Captive without Chains
By: Laurie Ragan Jenkins

Whenever feeling helpless
Whenever feeling bound
Whenever feeling captive
Although no chains are found
Keep looking up toward Heaven
Where Jesus' love abounds
You're part of His great kingdom
Nothing on earth can keep you down
Captivated by His righteous love
Chained unto His Holy Cross
Only God's love binds your soul
On this earth grown so very cold
When you're captive with the Lord
Your help comes from His Kingdom up above
Where His mighty power keeps you strong
Captive without chains living for the Lord
