Silver and gold, have I none,
Peter said to the lame man at the temple gate.
Yet, such as I have, give I thee,
In the name of Jesus of Nazareth,
RISE UP AND WALK!

Today like the lame man, you may face pressing needs,
And wonder where your source of supply might be.
In God you should trust--let your mind be set free,
In the name of Jesus of Nazareth,
RISE UP AND WALK!

Yesterday's mistakes may be clouding tomorrow's vision,
Faith, hope, and love may be running low.
Accept His forgiviness and trust His redeeming grace,
In the name of Jesus of Nazareth,
RISE UP AND WALK!

Lameness comes in many diverse and various forms,
Physical, mental, financial, and yes, so much more.
Seek for The Great Physician's healing norm,
In the name of Jesus of Nazareth,
RISE UP AND WALK!
