A Monument to the Ten Commandments

A Monument to the Ten Commandments

Take The Ten Commandments
out of the Court House,
a higher court unwisely demands;
Sadly, showing their ignorance
of these time-tested truths,
as the living God's loving and caring commands.

The monument of granite, rock and stone,
may from the Alabama Court House
be forcefully removed;
Yet, the monument to The Ten Commandments
in my mind and heart,
will forever abide in its spiritual residential groove.
