The Renewing Season of the Soul

The Renewing Season of the Soul

Good Morning! The bright sunshine and
Cool breezes, said to me today.
Spring has finally "sprung"
All other seasons must now give way.

Placed by our creator-God
Between a cold winter and hot summer.
Spring is as much a gift of God's grace,
As salvation is to a blood-washed sinner.

Like nature, life has its varied seasons,
Very hot, often cool, and sometimes bitterly cold!
Yet, for the modern day Christian,
Spring is the ever-renewing season,
Of the Spirit-filled soul.
