Psalm 151
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

By George David Denson
Other Poems by George David Denson

Open your Bibles and 150 psalms you will read,
The 151st Psalm is a mystery,
Unfolded through the souls of you and me.

To God be the glory, great things He has done,
These are the opening words of adoration,
From Psalm One Hundred and Fifty-One.

The Lord is our Shepherd -- We need not fear,
Psalm 151 experientially teaches,
That His daily presence is real and so near.

Psalm 151 poetically and emphatically declares,
Love God will all of your heart,
And that love with your neighbor do share.

As you daily live out the teachings of the 151st psalm,
You will learn to trust,
In the living God and Him alone.

Through the eyes of faith, His glory we can all see,
Truly Psalm One Hundred and Fifty-One,
Can only be written by the thankful souls like you and me.
