Spring

Spring

By blood, sweat and many tears,
God told Adam and Eve,
They would live.
Yet, Spring comes forth
In the midst of the year,
With much soul-freeing inspiration
To joyfully give.

Green grass
Birds singing,
Poets writing,
These are the sights and sounds of Spring.
Such inspiring moments of feeling,
Makes you want to sing like a bird
And every bell ring!

As the sun rises
Each and every day;
So does the inspiration
Of Spring,
As you travel along life's graceful,
But often uneven way.

Stop! Look! Listen!
To the sights and sounds
Of Spring --
And your soul will be
Pleasantly and surprisingly inspired,
To always do life's most holy things.
