One day at a time is more than
just an all time country gospel song;
It is the way that you and God,
In this journey of faith, daily walk along.

You and God, God and You, together
one day at a time and not much more;
Today he will give you your daily bread,
and to Him give your daily praise galore.

Take not too much thought of tomorrow,
Jesus emphatically and insightfully taught;
Trust me for one day at a time and not much more,
and from heaven to earth your needs will be brought.

One day at a time is more than
just an all time country gospel song;
It is the way that our Father's will
on earth and in heaven is powerfully done.

About the Poet
I am 73 years old and have not written poetry in these past many years For my wife of 73, my daughter of 50 and my son, 44 in the Army National guard I write this poem in faith but also with tear.
