The Land of The Free
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

Other Poems by George David Denson

This land is your land,
this land is my land --
So does a popular 20th century song go;
In the 21st Century, this land of the free
is truly more valuable than
all the world's oil, land, silver and gold!

To have the privilege of living
in the land of the free,
and the home of the brave;
Makes us all deeply indebted
to work and pray for the freedom of all,
who are presently, unjustly enslaved.

Thank you God, for this glorious gift
of living and working
in the land of the free;
May we always share with others --
freedom's home-grown, sweet-tasting fruit
found only, on her majestic fruit-bearing tree.
